Business Enablement through Enterprise-grade Social Media Platform
Abstract:
Risk management and cyber security often seen as support and compliance functions. The functions can be business enablers and a market differentiator. The presentation starts from a business demand of extending reach to mass market beyond traditional means in a cost efficient manner and securely using social media platform such as WeChat.
Organisations view social media as a significant risk and treat it conservatively. Hence, only a limited business value can be derived. A large pharmaceutical firm has successfully deployed an enterprise-grade social media platform. This presentation will highlight cyber risk and security consideration and the result of implementation. |
