Registration
The 2016 Asia unfunded leadership
meeting will take place in Singapore on 12-13 November 2016. If you or
someone from your chapter will be attending the meeting, please register
for the event (login required). Please secure your airline
reservations as soon as possible to take advantage of the rates in place for
travel to Singapore.
As mentioned in previous communications, this is an unfunded meeting. Thus,
chapters/attendees will be responsible for securing their own
airfare/transportation and accommodations related to the event. Reimbursement
by ISACA International will NOT be provided for attendance at the 2016 Asia
unfunded leadership meeting.
Agenda/Presentations
Is there something you want to make sure we
cover at the meeting? Are you interested in presenting and/or facilitating a
group discussion? When you register, please provide thoughts on items you would
like to discuss and/or present. If you indicate you are interested in
presenting, I will follow up with you. The agenda will be sent closer to the
meeting date.
Hotel (booking deadline is 21 September)
ISACA made arrangements with the Marina
Bay Sands for a room rate of SGD 340.00 per
night plus taxes and fees. Please click here to reserve your room as soon
as possible since the hotel usually sells out quickly.
Arrival/Departure
Attendees typically arrive in the afternoon
or early evening on Friday and depart Sunday afternoon/evening. The meeting
will take place from 9:00am to 5:00pm (with dinner to follow) on Saturday, 12
November and from 9:00am until approximately 1:00pm on Sunday, 13 November
(with lunch to follow). If possible, please attempt to secure a return flight
late enough on Sunday so you do not have to leave the meeting early.
Common Costs
Meeting common costs will be covered by
ISACA International and include:
- Meeting
room rental & audio/visual
- 2
lunches/3 coffee breaks
- Dinner
on Saturday evening (guests are invited to attend for US $120).
Details will be communicated as we get closer to the event
Friday
If you arrive at the hotel by 6:00pm on
Friday, 11 November and would like to join the host Singapore Chapter for an
optional dinner event, please indicate such during the online registration
process. Please note, there will be a cost for the Friday dinner event, and
details will be communicated at a later time.
CSX Asia
Pacific Conference
In addition to the leadership meeting, you
are invited and encouraged to attend the CSX Asia Pacific
Conference. The 2016 CSX Asia Pacific Conference will take place from 14-16
November at the same location as the leadership meeting.
